Michael Solomon

Michael founded SEE Potential in 2003. It is a for-profit, socially-focussed business with clients range from ‘one man band’ operations to the world’s leading international corporations, businesses based in the UK and overseas.

Michael is an Economics and Finance graduate of the University of Manchester. He went back to academia having graduated from the ‘university of life’, travelling extensively in his early twenties, living and working in 14 countries over a four-year period.

After experience as an economic researcher in the City, working for the Refugee Council and subsequently in financial publishing, Michael set up SEE Publishing in 2002 to develop his nascent idea for promoting real business responsibility.

He developed SEE Potential as interest in corporate responsibility issues increased dramatically in both business and politics, and amongst consumers. Michael transformed his initial concept from a responsible business questionnaire and website directory into the SEE Companies accreditation scheme and the wider mission of SEE Potential.
