At Bristol

0 out of 5

The millennium built attraction, At Bristol joins up nature, art and science in its three part exploration of the earth’s natural and manmade resources. Wildwalk brings visitors face to face with the extraordinary diversity of the natural world and zooms in on the smallest forms of natural life which are so important to entire ecosystems. It does this through revolutionary media techniques and wildlife filmmaking to create an unforgettable and interactive show. The People and Planet exhibition considers mankind’s relationship with nature before sending you down Europe’s first ever walk-through, living tropical coral reef tank containing a panoply of tropical marine life. The marine rock and corals were obtained from sustainable sources and continue to educate visitors on the fragility of these micro-ecosystems. The Forgotten Kingdom in the botanical house provides a privileged insight into the mysterious world of the fungi, the first land colonizers before animals.
