Gants Mill & Garden
The wheels at Gants Mill & Garden have provided power to century’s worth of wool, silk and corn production. Its present sixth generation miller diversified into electricity production and now the mill has become both a small scale hydro power scheme and the site of a bed and breakfast and self-catering property. The 65 acre farm invites its guests to participate in its seasonal activity such as lambing in spring or haymaking in June. The mill and eccentric colour themed gardens are also open to visitors during the summer months where the gentle flow of water is apparent throughout.
