Supporters and wearers of Real Nappies, the Finnemore children have played a crucial role in the ‘greening’ of Higher Lank farm. The real nappy service is offered along side other child friendly fittings and feeding times. The farm offers hands on experience for children as they get to know a variety of animals, all accustomed recipients of children’s attention. The Nursery Rhyme self-catering cottages were completed in 2005 adhering to green criteria throughout with high-specification insulation above your head and under floor heating below your feet. Wood burning stoves offer deliciously slow cooked meals using the farm’s own wood supply.
