Harking back to childhood seaside holidays, Paskins townhouse captures a sense of Brighton’s ‘pier and promenade’ past. The Art-Deco breakfast room provides a sufficiently surreal backdrop to the hotel’s breakfast speciality of Pavilion Rarebit. All the food is local, organic and fair-trade including both authentic Uckfield oak smoked bacon and homemade herby vegetarian sausages. The Victorian building’s listed status in a conservation area of Brighton has provided inspiration and pride in the hotel’s appearance helped by a stock of green toiletries and cleaning materials. The warm service is also a great attraction to this hotel.
