Sandy Balls
The Sandy Balls refer to ancient dome-shaped sand and gravel outcrops surrounding this camping and self-catering site which has welcomed guests for over 75 years. Throughout this time the site has ensured that as guardians of the natural landscape, this beautiful corner of the New Forest is protected. Energy saving lodges, a solar heated swimming pool, electric site vehicles and waste segregation initiatives are among those measures adopted by Sandy Balls. With an onsite cycle centre and suggested routes, there are also plenty of opportunities to make the most of the New Forest by bicycle.
