Torr Buan House
A regular ferry service to Craignure from mainland Oban runs throughout the year linking up with this wild and inspirational island. David Woodhouse, proprietor of Torr Buan is known locally as the wildlife expert and offers all weather exploration tours of the island to his guests and independent tourists. The house itself provides a dramatic wildlife viewing point where eagles can often be seen circling ahead and the views out to sea are nothing short of spectacular. The sheep insulated building is cosy even in the depths of a wild Hebridean winter and offers its guests dinner, bed and breakfast in a secluded annex.
