An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join one of the most forward thinking construction companies in the field, to work on arguably the most exciting project in London. My client requires a dynamic Sustainability manager to contribute to this phenomenal development- to report, promote and ensure the strong sustainability commitment is maintained throughout.

This is a hands-on position, working alongside the construction team on site, with duties ranging from investigating the environmental performance of the project, developing and managing environmental management plans, and engaging and educating all stakeholders and relevant parties.

The successful candidate will therefore have exceptional communication and organisational skills in order ensure all parties, both internal and external, understand and support the sustainability message.

A solid understanding of environmental issues in construction is preferable, with possibly a relevant environmental qualification to support this. An understanding of the construction processes and procedures will also be favoured. Most importantly, the winning qualities of the applicant will be enthusiasm, diplomacy and an outgoing nature, as this is a people-job with an important message to be heard. It is fantastic chance to help pioneer an industry into its future, and to be at the heart of making a tangible difference to a project that will be praised the world over-applications soon please!
