Miss England opens ‘Eco-Chic’ fashion show

The 'Eco-Chic’ fashion show is being held in Oxford to celebrate environmentally friendly fashion and raise money for Comic Relief. Miss England, Eleanor Glynn from Oxford and the face of eco design bags, will open the show, which includes designs from Enamore, Trading For Development by Judith Condor-Vidal, SARI DRESS project, Kuyuchi, Little Earth, Oxfam Vintage and Debbie Little.

To prove that Eco fashion is for everyone, 30 wannabe models from in and around Oxford have been picked by The Bridge radio station and the Ethical Fashion Forum to work the catwalk alongside four professional models. Elizabeth Laskar, Eco-Chic producer, said: 'we were looking for real people to wear real fashion… and we found them!  It was hard to choose because they were all so wonderful.'

To see the show and cheer on the models, head for  The Bridge, Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford at 5.30 on Friday 16th March. Tickets are available for £6 on the door with all proceeds going to Comic Relief.
