Clothes Show Live 2007 will debut ‘Fashion Conscience’ zone

‘Fashion Conscience’ is a new area at the Clothes Show Live this year. Brands exhibiting in the area will be ones that don’t see any need to compromise between fashion or ethics.

The Clothes Show is the biggest fashion and beauty event in the UK with over 190,000 people visiting the event last year. The eve style show will run alongside Clothes Show Live for the second year and will also have an area specifically for ethical labels and has just announced it will be called ‘Ethical Boutique’.

Visitors can move freely between the two events, so you can visit both zones and find designs that are eco-friendly and fair traded and make you look good.

Fashion Conscience will be located in the Black Label zone, which is launching this year. The area is for high fashion brands and will include the designer pavilion which is made up of London Fashion Week designers, the designer catwalk and an exclusive champagne bar.

Enamore is the first company to be confirmed. Enamore will be showing its Autumn/Winter 2007 collection and a fresh range of handmade corsages in the Fashion Conscience area. Also, like many exhibitors this will be combined with discounted stock so you can runaway with some bargains. Enamore is considering sampling a new range of accessories at the show in collaboration with designer Ruth Singer.

We’ll keep you updated as other fashion conscious names are confirmed for the show in December.
