Find Fashion Made Fair in London this weekend
This weekend, finding Fashion Made Fair is made easy, as loads of our favourite ethical pioneers have come together to bring you ethical fashion and entertainment.
Enamore, Green Knickers, Kuyichi, People Tree and Terra Plana are just a few of the ethical labels exhibiting, in a laid back atmosphere at the Boilerhouse on London’s Brick Lane. Katharine Hamnett will be there on Sunday, from 12-1pm, signing her iconic T-shirts.
As well as up to 80 per cent off retail prices, which should keep you entertained, there’s fun stuff for kids, relaxing therapies for grown-ups and a cafe for everyone. Films and workshops will get to the heart of the issue of ethical fashion, and make clear why the pioneers are passionate about producing fashion forward labels in a fair way. While you can chat to the people behind the labels all day, there’ll also be specific Q&A sessions, and screenings include Black Gold, a documentary about fair trade coffee in Ethiopia, and Moral Fibre, a documentary film by PAN UK about organic cotton.
It’s just £1 to get in which includes entry into a prize draw for ethical goodies.
