Girls don green padded cycling knickers for London to Brighton

Green Knickers have come up trumps with these padded cycling knickers.

We told you to look out for them a couple of months back and now they’re finally here - just in time for the girls at Green Knickers to get racy for London to Brighton cycle on 17 June.

They will be taking their own advice to ‘cycle more’ as is printed on the back on the knickers, which along with their new vests is all they’ll be wearing during the race, to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

The vests read ‘Sore arse? Heavy conscience? You need www.greenknickers.com’.

This is in reference to the fact that feeling like you should be doing your bit for the environment can leave you a bit sore down there if you’ve opted for pedals as your transport.

This is why the 100 per cent organic knickers have removable padding - it sounds quite funny but we reckon they’ll catch on. Green Knickers will peddle their ware around the city, which is also where the pants are locally manufactured and ecologically dyed.

Green Knickers are exhibiting at the Clothes Show Live’s new, exciting Fashion Conscience section in December.
