Man in pants asks world to recycle undies

Patagonia's upped the ante again in its bid to encourage clothes recycling, unleashing a superhero called Agent Timmy to promote the campaign.

On his mandatory Myspace page and YouTube vid (see below), Timmy heads to Japan where the outdoors outfitter has one of the world's first polyester and fleece recycling plants.

If you've got an old fleece you'd liked to donate, either post it to Patagonia's Paris HQ or use the company's dealer finder to track down a store that'll take your fleece - though you should call ahead, as not all of them are yet participating in the scheme.
