Organising a green wedding has just got even easier

More couples than ever before are deciding upon a green wedding, but a new site, GreenUnion, has just made the planning process a whole lot easier. Rather than frantically scouring the country for ethical alternatives in the run up to your big day, you can now source everything you need from this online directory. From gems and jewels to venues, cakes and carriages, GreenUnion takes you through the various options and suggests suppliers that have been carefully screened. you are in good hands as founder, Rosie Ames, runs her own wedding planning business from her Devon organic smallholding. 'We don't expect anyone to be perfectly green. And we certainly don't expect people to compromise on quality or design,' says Ames. 'But we do believe doing one good thing is better than doing nothing, especially on such a happy occasion.'
