Sony unveils Odo devices

Sony has revealed a collection of low-tech concept devices, that never need recharging.

Lots of energy has gone into designing the latest stylish ‘Odo’ concepts, which would be powered by solar, rollers, or your thumbs.

The latter would come in handy for the vanguard product - the Spin ‘N’ Snap digital camera.

Despite the rubbish name, if Sony turns this concept into a reality it would be the rebirth of the wind-on camera.

To power the camera you apparently put a finger through each hole, and spin the whole device around its centre. This turns a dynamo and creates the power to take the next photo.

The environmentally friendly concept range also includes another camera/video device, stereo headphones, and a solar charger or ‘juice box’ for your other devices.

The devices are all made from recycled plastic and from the rapturous response we predict they will go into production at some point. Lets hope we’re right - bagsy a camera.
