Top 5 Organic Skin Cleansers

Top 5 Organic Skin Cleansers Korres Magnolia Cleansing Emulsion

Right from top end luxury, Selfridges stocked uber-expensive organic cleansers through to excessively smelly homemade, sawdust resembling face-porridge; trust us when we say that when it comes to natural face cleaners, we’ve pretty much tried them all.

With the market quickly becoming saturated with brands upon brands of the stuff, we thought we’d help you out by highlighting the best ones out there – because (despite popular opinion) not all organic products are great.

5. Honey and Orange Scrub, Neal’s Yard Remedies £12 With a fabulous fragrance and an even better texture, this scrub really gets into your skin to buff away all of the horridness. It’s particularly good if you live in a city (or busy town) where you are surrounded by congestion because it exfoliates. Good for a once a week treat.

4. Gentle Cleanse, Green People £13.99 Certified organic, this cleanser is both gentle and soothing – though a little on the pricey side. It smells good and leaves skin with a soft, matt texture, and comes in a handy pump-action bottle. Great!

3. Organic Pure Face Cleanser, Saaf Pure Skincare £24.99 Ok – so it’s expensive which is why it’s at number 3 rather than number 1 – but this cleanser is one of the best we’ve tried. Made out of totally natural ingredients, it’s very thick and removes all of the daily grime without taking your skin’s natural oils with it (though you do need to take it off with a face cloth, water just won’t do it). The result? Your skin is left beautifully soft and wonderfully clean. Well worth the investment if you feel like treating yourself.

2. Sensitive Face Wash, Bulldog £4.49 Boys, now you have no excuse not to wash your face thanks to the chaps at Bulldog creating a sensitive range especially for guys with – well, sensitive skin! Your cries of but I’ll smell like a lady and it makes my face itchy shall no longer be listened to.

1. Magnolia Cleansing Emulsion, Korres £12.50 With its beautifully floral scent and light texture, this cleanser certainly has the edge. At £12.50 it’s on the expensive side, but a little goes a long way and this should last you a while.

Thanks for the list, are they only available in the UK? I’m in the US and use the Apricot Gentle Face Scrub by EarthScience. I like it, it keeps my face soft and clean.
