Tried & Tested: Pai organic skin cream

Each morning I reach into the fridge for my milk, juice and ... now my skin cream.  Sarah, founder of Pai skin care, recommends that this is the best way to keep the product fresh and I think it has other benefits too, the cream is cooling and calming - which will be perfect in hot weather.  Each jar is stamped with the best before date, mine says 15 Apr 2007, which is fast approaching! Sarah does explain that the creams have a 3 month shelf life because they are preservative free.  This does encourage you to use the cream regularly and you know that you are putting the freshest organic ingredients on your skin.  Although priced at £17.95 per quarter, it will be quite an investment.

It's good to write a review on something you have actually tried and tested and I was determined to be critical if necessary.  However I can't fault the cream whatsoever, the geranium and thistle is perfect for my combination skin; even in the few weeks that I have used it, it is balancing my complexion and reducing pores.  The consistency isn't too rich and my skin is left smooth, not greasy. The write up on the box describes the harsh reality of mainstream cosmetics and even mentions 'cancer' - personally I did not think Sarah needed to go that far to persuade customers to turn to natural cosmetics.  As far as I'm concerned the product sells itself.

For my earlier article on the launch of Pai Cosmetics, see below.  I believe a range of cleansers are to follow.
