Win an eco-friendly stay in Jamaica with ecobookers
Ecobookers is offering you the chance to win a seven night stay at an eco-friendly hotel in Jamaica.
For a chance to win register your details here before 9 January 2008 to be entered in the competition, you’ll also receive regular news and exclusive offers.
The winner will receive a weeks stay at the eco-chic Hotel Mocking Bird Hill, a romantic, peaceful hideaway, nestled between the majesty of the Blue Mountains and the Caribbean Sea in Jamaica.
The eco-hotel has teamed up with Sustainable Tourism Initiative (STI) and is working towards becoming a carbon neutral eco-boutique hotel by offsetting carbon emissions and enabling guests to offset the carbon emissions produced by their flights to Jamaica.
The hotel already uses solar-power to heat water along with energy-efficient equipment and as much day-light as possible to reduce energy consumption.
It also contributes to a Jamaican project which seeks to preserve and improve the local environment. The hotel partners with the Jamaica Conservation Development Trust (JCDT), a Jamaican NGO that has an extensive reforestation programme using mainly native Jamaican forest trees.
The prize is for two people in a double room and does not include flights or transfers.
