Women fancy green guys, says Nuts

Men should cut their carbon footprints, don organic cotton and travel by bicycle to improve their chance of dating success, according to a new survey.

The online poll of 1,500 women by Nuts magazine cited 'caring about the environment' as the number one personality trait women find attractive in men. Being green knocked sense of humour off the top spot, and also came in above other qualities such as intelligence, dress sense and ambition.

Louise Prior, the mag's relationship guru, thinks eco awareness means a man isn't selfish. 'There's something sexy about a man who recycles, it shows that he cares about more than just himself and shows he has a sensitive side and thinks about the future,' she says.

The survey follows on the heels of a recent YouGov survey that reported London men were four times less likely than women to be concerned about the environment.
