Pantone359 – Polar Bear T-shirt

5 out of 5

The intertextual nature of this red and white polar bear design put a grin on my face, which is exactly what it aims to do. Not often a wearer of slogan tees something has to instantly grab me, and replicating the trademark colours of a controversial company, while providing an antidotal and anecdotal message does just that – and sums up this blurb in one glance.

The T-shirt is high quality 100 per cent organic cotton and organically printed in the UK by T Shirt and Sons, which is Soil Association certified and ECO (Ethical Company Organisation) accredited. The cotton is quite thick and the tees are snug fitting and not over-long in the trunk, so if want a more chuck-it-on type of fit, it might be an idea to go up a size.

The top is delivered in a 100 per cent recycled card document wallet, and another nice touch is that 50p from every Polar Bear pantone359 tee sold goes to the WWF, towards adopting a polar bear.

£25 is definitely not your bargain end of T-shirt shopping but this isn’t fast fashion, and if you work it out on that good old ‘cost-per-wear’ calculation it’s easily justified.

Available online at Pantone359.

Cost: £25 plus postage
