Weleda: Birch Body Scrub
It’s that time of year when you think skin smoothing, tan preparing, fresh and summery body scrubs.
Weleda’s new one is from their birch range, formulated for getting rid of that perennial nasty, cellulite. They claim that the organically grown silver birch extracts stimulate circulation to help flush out those yucky cellulite-causing toxins, especially when used alongside their more established product, Birch Cellulite Oil. I found the oil rather messy to use (oily bathroom tiles? No thanks!) but that maybe says more about me than the product itself…
Getting back to the scrub, however, used regularly this does produce results, gently evening out the skin on those wobbly areas and generally perking you up. Weleda recommend you use it at least once a week to see the best effects. So I’d go with this – and if you’re not the messy type, back it up with the cellulite oil!
